Rik Galliano

Musical Work in Progress...

Rik Galliano is a guitarist/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist.

His musical training began in an orchestra setting at at a young age. Around his 15th birthday, he got his first guitar and never looked back – in a short time, he was performing several nights a week in local club bands.

Over the next few years, Rik made the rounds with top regional acts in the PA/NY/NJ area, honing his skills and showmanship and performing at some of the east coast’s most important venues -  Gracing the stages at The Bitter End, CBGBs, Jitterbugs, The Station, the Airport Music Hall and many more.

By the early 90s, Rik had relocated to the Mid-west, and became a staple on the local St Louis  scene, as well as a fixture to regional recording studios:  He was also utilized for regional commercial work, including voice-overs for area businesses.

In late 1996, Rik embarked on a solo CD project: “Dancing in Light”. Rik handled virtually all of the musical duties (except drums and some keys). “Dancing In Light” was released in Dec. 1996, and received critical acclaim from regional and national publications, both in print and online. These and other accolades culminated when the title track landed on the 1997 GRAMMY™ Nominations list for Best Rock Instrumental Performance!!

After a few gigs to support his solo CD, Rik joined forces with Just Mr., the St Louis area’s premier classic rock band, performing roughly 80-100 shows a year. as well as numerous shows with Evolution – a Tribute to Journey. 

 A move to the West Coast was followed by several years as music director/guitarist for Rock Fantasy, So-Cal's premier multi-vocalist Rock Tribute Show.

Rik was also a vital member of the Shannon Rae’s & 100 proof as guitarist, vocalist, and  music director.

Currently, Rik is performing  throughout so-Cal with Bad Habit, an in-demand classic 80's area cover band, as well as writing new instrumental material.
